The first few items of my winter line are now available in my shop. More goodies and another colorway to come!

Finally finished this quilt, and I just love how super soft the shot cotton and other fabrics are now that they've been washed. I played up the half to the whole in my quilting to make a connection with the half squares that make the points of the stars. I quilted each little square in the border in half making a zig zag around the quilt that works really well so I'm glad I didn't quilt x's in each block to match the inside of the stars. I love how varying the placement of the dark and light values makes some of the stars feel like they ought to be bouncing around and making noises like a pinball machine. Launching a shop, new items, or a line is never easy! It's been great to chat with Brittany of The Homeground about our goals and deadlines, and I'm so excited to see the beautiful shop open its 'e-doors' this weekend! The photography, styling, and of course the jewelry are just soo unbelievably perfect and stunning! Can't wait to see what The Homeground cooks up next!
